We sometimes feel a pang when a piece of furniture that we’ve really worked on, is collected from the workshop to disappear to a new life in somebody’s home. We’ll usually never see it again. Sometimes however, we deliver the furniture ourselves to install the pieces in people’s homes – and sometimes customers kindly send us photos of their new furniture in place. It’s always fascinating and a privilege.
Here’s a tiny window into the world of others – and their/our furniture!
Residing at the foot of the bed in this stunning bedroom on the edge of the Brecons, is our burry oak panelled chest, complete with a natural-edge lid.
This magnificently grainy, natural-edge console table, crafted from beautiful Scottish elm wood, has been teamed up with a splendid mirror in a living room in Oxfordshire.
A large centre-piece cross-legged oak dining table, perfect for entertaining, is now in a lovely North Pembrokeshire home.
One of our favourite’s – The Lion’s Paw coffee table – so named because of the fabulously rich and large burry patterns of its cat’s paw grain. It fitted perfectly into the comfortable fireside living space of lovely customers in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire.
This modern take on a traditional refectory style table was commissioned as part of a family wedding party celebration. It will go on to grace the terrace and provide outdoor dining space for this idyllic Pembrokeshire cottage. Even the hens have given it their vote of approval.
This traditional Welsh dresser was one of a number of pieces requested by one of our customers for their effortlessly stylish home, near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire. Made with oak from the Welsh Borders.
This large AV cabinet was commissioned to support and tidily house this impressive tv screen and all the attendant equipment and cables. The unit has clean, modern lines, but with decorative oak burr panels.
We made this long oak bookcase for our customer’s contemporary new barn conversion, near Tenby.
In this lovely restored farmhouse in North Pembrokeshire, resides this wide, pale Welsh ashwood dining table, complete with natural edges and matching backed benches.
